Swarthghyll Farm and Activity Centre is an ideal location to meet the needs of walking groups, universities, corporate activities and events, conference facilities, team building, family get togethers, birthday parties and schools.

The Bunk Barn provides accommodation for up to forty people in a beautifully renovated barn. All of the accommodation is no smoking and self catering.

The accommodation comprises:

• Six bunk rooms, the smallest of which accommodates four people (this is a team leaders room with en suite facilities), two rooms accommodating 6 people and three rooms accommodating 8 people. Giving a total of 40 comfortable bunk beds.
• Washing and drying facilities for clothes.
• Large self catering kitchen and dinning area. Comprising; gas cooking facilities, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, crockery, glassware and cutlery, cooking utensils, dishcloths, sponges and tea towels are provided.
• Large and spacious common room with pool table, games, dart board, satellite television, video. There is a fully equipped bar. Beer can be purchased in advance by contacting the centre.
• Large meeting room with television and video facilities
• Payphone
• Separate male and female showers and toilet facilities.
• Central heating throughout
• Ample parking for mini buses and cars
• Catering for larger parties can be organised if required

There is a superb BBQ area for the exclusive use of the bunk barn - situated in the woodland gill alongside the bunk barn,   There is decking over the stream that runs through the gill, with a large seating area, gas heater etc.   It lends itself to parties and family get togethers, really popular with schoolsand corporate meetings.

Situated in the gill, opposite the BBQ area there is an excellent play area for the younger visitors - with swings, playhouse and slide

Due to the excellent location of Swarthghyll Farm and Activity Centre Tesco Supermarket will happily deliver your food order. You need to place and pay for your order at Tesco.com and arrange a delivery time when you or some one from your party will be able to take delivery at the bunk barn and put away your order. There are fridges and freezers available for your convenience.

You must provide bedding, sleeping bag and pillows if required. Food, towels, toiletries, toilet roll, dustbin liners and dishwasher powder.

Self contained, self catering apartment and studio flat are available for rent in conjunction with the Bunk Barn subject to availability.

The Bunk Barn can be hired exclusively . The Bunk Barn is strictly no smoking.
